ABOUT US
The Kent Dance Society is part of Kent Union and is based at the Canterbury campus. We are the biggest society at Kent, previously boasting up to 250 members. Our dancers range in dance experience but all come together to form one family.
We have a strong focus on competing, but also have various performing and workshop opportunities for all of our dancers!
Whether you have danced your whole life, or are just starting now - we have something for you!
We offer a wide range of styles to all members, and you can join us at any stage of your degree. Everyone is welcome at Kent Dance! Join us for competitions, classes, or workshops.

As well as offering dance opportunities, we hold regular socials from a classic Wednesday sport night in Venue, to classy formal balls. Our social secs will ensure you feel comfortable at all times and ease into your new university life at Kent. Kent Dancers often make friends for life!
